August 31, 2024 - The Queen City Chaos opened their fall season with a home victory of 68 - 0 against Tulsa RFC.
Due in large part to the hype surrounding the USA women’s 7s bronze medal at the Olympics this summer, women’s rugby throughout the Midwest has seen a drastic increase in rookie numbers. The Chaos welcomed 20 new members to their roster this season, and all contributed to the Chaos’ win on Saturday.
Tries were scored by veterans Alli Haug (coach), Mo Smith, Jordan Dunacusky, and Parice Moeder, as well as by rookie, Bailey Gardner. Bailey Gardner of the Chaos and Linda Kanzenbach from Tulsa RFC were named Women of the Match.
The Chaos play their next match at home on September 21st at 1:30pm versus the Australian side South’s Rugby Union.
