September 14, 2024 - SRFC travelled with about 26 players up to Kansas City Saturday for a friendly match against Kansas City Rugby Football Club's starting fifteen. We were sent home with a 44 - 7 loss.
KCRFC started strong and kept it going through the second half. They are a great club that capitalized on all our mistakes and the score showed it. We were able to get a lot of our rookies some great minutes and see more of what we have to work with for the season so it was a great day for our club regardless of the scoreboard.
Our Man of the Match voted on by KCRFC goes to THE Tom Pedrozo! Sir Jack Hume scored Springfield's only try on the day.
