We’re calling on all our alumni, community members, and die-hard fans to rally behind the Mudpuppies and Queen City Chaos in this electrifying, fast-paced tournament sponsored by Wire Road Brewing!
What’s the Buzz About?
Picture this: 23 teams from four states—Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Kansas—battling it out in 3 divisions. With men’s, women’s, and high school divisions, there will be over 40 matches played Saturday. From the bone-crunching tackles to the dazzling tries, Wire Road 7's promises thrills at every turn.

Head on over to our brand new facility at 4035 E Sawyer Rd, Republic, MO. Our covered pavilion offers nearly 360 degrees of rugby viewing. No need to worry about missing a single jaw-dropping moment. We’ve got two pitches running simultaneously, so you can catch every high-speed, heart-pounding play.

Did we mention it’s FREE for spectators? That’s right, you can soak up all the rugby action without spending a dime. But wait, it gets better! High-Stakes Rugby
The men’s division boasts fierce competitors like the Wichita Barbarians, Arkansas Gryphons, defending champs KCRFC Reds, and many more. Our women’s division features powerhouses like the Chaos, Fayetteville Phoenix, Patriots, and the dynamic Kansas City Jazz. The brand new Patriots (made up of first responders in the KC area) won KC Northland's inaugural 7s Tournament a couple weeks ago on a last minute try against the Jazz. Maybe they can repeat? Or will the Tulsa/Wichita combo knock them off? We'll see on Saturday! And don’t forget our high school bracket—the largest we’ve ever hosted—showcasing top prospects from across the Midwest.
Why 7's Rugby?
7's is something that you have to witness in person to understand the athleticism. 7’s Rugby is the Olympic version of the sport, with 7 players per team, 7-minute halves, and a relentless pace that will keep you on the edge of your seat. It’s the same format that will light up the Paris 2024 Olympics next month, with the USA men’s and women’s teams both vying for gold.
